We  are a community based rural ambulance service. We are based in  Mayville and Finley, ND and cover a large part of Traill and Steele  County. The service responds to calls in Mayville, Portland, Hatton,  Buxton, Reynolds, Clifford, Galesburg, Finley and Sharon. We work closely with Sanford Hospital-Mayville, Hope Ambulance, the Traill County Sheriff’s  Department, local fire departments, and local first responder units. 
 
West Traill Ambulance Service prides itself on being on the cutting edge 
of rural medicine with up-to-date equipment and progressive protocols.  We operate primarily as a Basic Life Support service that has the  capabilities to respond as an Advanced Life Support service  when the  appropriate staff are able to respond.
